Introduction to Photoshop

What is Photoshop? Photoshop is a Graphics Based program from Adobe. this is a Raster Graphic Based imaging tool. Raster graphics are compromised of a raster (a grid) of small sqaures called pixels. Objects in Photoshop are groups of many pixels - each of which can be a different color. Raster images require more memory and storage than vector images. This session will introduce you to the tool palette, basic commands, common menus, layers and how to make selections based on shape and color. User Interface The user interface , in the industrial design field of human–machine interaction , is the space where interaction between humans and machines (here PHOTOSHOP) occurs. The goal of interaction between a human and a machine at the user interface is effective operation and control of the machine, and feedback from the machine which aids the operator in making operational decisions. You can use the below links for the pictures. SPARROW DOG Open the sparrow picture with photoshop. Then change the background layer to normal by double clicking the Background layer from the Layer palette.Then remove the background with the pen tool (recommended). Now our sparrow will look like this. Open the dog picture and copy it to our Canvas. Then resize the Dog to match with the Sparrow. Decrease the transparancy to see through the dogs image. (I used 137.5% Scaling.) Now we are going to remove the background from the dogs picture also. After rmoving the background our canvas now looks like below. Yes!
